Plagues I have known

August 2nd, 2001: A haze of aphids descend on Toronto like a big aphidy cloud. "It's like a Sci Fi flick," says CityTV.
October 8th, 2003: Ladybugs swarm London. As I type this there are about 50 of them stuck to my windows and a couple of dozen trapped in the elevator.

Conicidence? I think not.
