I can't look through the whole thing. But I feel everyone should at least try.

I really should have finished my sandwich before I clicked on that.

How on earth are they touching those?

I am in Biology class, so I get to touch stuff like that. Next week we are dissecting fetal pigs. Yummy. I think I'd rather have the fish. Pretty fishie...*pokes*

Eeeee!!! FISHIES! I love fish so much. I wanted to be a marine biologist for so long. I'm a Jacque Cousteau freak!

Some of them aren't that bad. The sea spider for instance is very cool looking. Of course if I ever saw it in person I'd probably wet myself in fear (I hate spiders).

Wow, so cool. But makes me sad - fisherpeople accidentally kill these awesome creatures? :( But, cool, I'll have to memory this post so I can show my son. He loooooooves freaky deep sea fish!

Am I the only person who thinks these pictures are amazingly cool? Fish normally creep me out, but bizarre deep-sea fish are apparently a-ok.

That is so awesome. Thank you for sharing. :) I am depressed that these people feel the need to pull all those totally rockin' creatures out of the sea, though.

Oh, hey, they're lovely!

::looks around:: Ah. Um. Am I the only person who really likes fish like this? They don't creep me out at all (although the sea-spiders and the crabs do, but that's a too-many-legs thing).

Aw, fishes.

Heh. Far cry from Finding Nemo world, aren't they?

They're cool when they're all dead and such, but I have a feeling I'd make a mess in the pants if I ever swam into one. :P

Ooh... those are really cool.

Er...

Of course, apparently when I was 3 I would go around telling people I was going to be an icthyologist (my parents taught me the word). I later went through the marine biology phase. And, if I had the math (which I don't), right now I'd be a deep sea biologist.

As it stands, I'm just hoping to get my SCUBA license within the next year or two. *g*

Those were some very cool fish. *nods*

Hm, I'm probably better off since I'm allergic to most fish anyway (and am, as such, not confronted with them all that often), but I found most of them to be pretty interesting. Had a small flashback to Finding Nemo with the anglerfish ♥
But a few of them (like the fangtooth or the viperfish) look really strange, no wonder people freak at them.
And the Gunard reminds me off bad alien movies o_O

*is fascinated* I think those fish all rock. Yes, they're a little slimy/gloopy looking, but they're still very different and very cool. I agree though, it's very sad people killed them.

I should not have looked at that before lunch.

Because, apparently, I really will eat anything.

WOW - those are freaky and cool. I've always been fond of the bizarre things that grow deep undersea, and while I might not want to run into these guys in a dark alley, they're fascinating to look at.

Those are reallyreally gross...but at the same time reallyreally amazing! I can't believe fishermen/fisherpeople (aren't I all PC or what?) feel the need to take those creatures out of the water! Still...kinda yucky. I'd probably pee myself if I saw any of them in real life.

Oh GOD! It was like a trainwreck--I couldn't stop looking. That blobfish looked much like what I imagine my alien looks like (asked the doctor to take a picture of it when he took it out as I am curious to see what it looks like).

But EW. I can't say I wasn't warned, but fuck, Ivy, where do you FIND this stuff?
