In other news..

The other day my mother came by for a visit and brought me a present. A blue vase. This is funny because I once wrote a story called "Blue Vase" and it's still my favourite of everything I've ever written. But I never actually had a blue vase before.

Now I do. That just seems odd to me. And portentious. Yes, portentious.
