bug

There was a big big big many-footed, long-tailed bug in my shower this morning. It did not like the water. I washed it down the drain.

But I fear it will just come back at me, bigger and ANGRIER.

I'm going to sit over here in the kitchen for a while until I forget what it looked like.

Oh, also: there is massive construction/deconstruction stuff going on RIGHT outside my window this morning. Like, on the sidewalk right under my window. It's incredibly loud.

So, this is that Monday morning everyone hates, yes?

*joins in the monday morning hate*

try pouring something chemical down the drain, might make you feel a bit safer?

This (http://pegkerr.livejournal.com/516540.html) is my story about big scary bugs.

What? No photo of the bug? Where was your trusty digital camera?

Have you ever heard this joke?

"There are four seasons in Canada: winter, winter, winter, construction."

As for the bug, I so symathize. When I was about 10 a similar thing happened to me and I practically refused to wash for the next week, I was too afraid to stand in the shower.

Sounds like a silverfish!

I hate silverfish. They creep me out so much. *hug*

Ugh. Construction is evil and needs to die. We've been woken by it for six months now and I am ready to plot how to set up a sniper station at my bedroom window and pick them off one by one.
