I only ever wrote first drafts, that's the sick thing. That's why it's so painful for me to write, really, and why I have to forceably teach myself to write drafts. Not only was I unwilling to write second or third drafts, I was more often than not unwilling to wait for a beta to finish something in real life to read over a story. I very often posted a fic about 15 minutes after I finished writing the last line.

This is the Anne Rice part of myself, and all my writing posts these days are about bullying that part into submission.

Though it was damn fun for fanfiction, even though I suppose it's horribly disrespectful to fanfiction readers. I'm sorry if people take it that way. It wasn't personal. It was just like....and DONE. Terrible habit.
