Yeah, it's just that in this case I question EVERYTHING about this person, full stop. But your point is taken, and I sort of agree. I mean, it's out of respect to the other transpeople we know that I would do either way. I don't want to lump them in with this...creature...but really, I have nothing invested in the pronouns thing.
