Yanno...

First off, a big shout out to penelope_z, who is one of my very favourite writers in this fandom, and one of my favourite people. I was just thinking about how much I love her, and how wonderful she is, and how much I adore her fics. I mean, I first found her fics trolling through ff.net back in the day, and I wasn't reading much at the time, but I read two words from 'The Seasons' and I was hooked. She has such a light touch and she writes obsessed!Draco so very well. Even if she does pronounce H/D dead at the scene.

Anyone who read Origins back when it was available...

Do you remember the chapter with the riddles? And it was called 'riddle me this', completely, btw, forgetting about Tom Riddle? Well, I got that title from a song called Riddle me This, by John Voorhees. I put a quote from the song at the top of the chapter, which was this:

How far apart are we supposed to stand
Before we're too uncomfortable to breathe?

Right. So. d00d. John Voorhees just emailed me. Because he, you know, found Origins. And he's not upset or anything, he's a big Harry Potter fan. He says I gave him more web presence than he's ever had. He even read the first three chapters, and wants to know how raunchy this fic gets. He realizes that it's slash. And he wants me to tell everyone that he has a website that I should plug.

I am so embarassed. This is very cool, and he seems like a great guy, but oh my GOD I'm embarrassed. I mean, what I do say?!

It is an angsty little H/D. With a Harry point of view and a Draco point of view. But I don't think the ending is the real ending, unless you think it should be.
