gay marriage rant

This has nothing to do with fandom, so I was considering not posting it here, but I just want to. Meh. The highest courts in my province and and my country have advised the government to make gay marriages legal. It's going to go to a free vote in front of the house of commons at some point soon, and there is a lot of religious objection. The host from the major christian tv show here in Canada has quit his day job to go fight against this. [read about it if you dare.]

This makes me awfully frustrated, so I wrote a rant. Actually I wrote it because my sister asked me to.
