Weird porn charges

Very creepy. But I thought the point of child porn being illegal was that it was evidence of a crime in progress and all that. Actual children in the process of being victimized. Not to defend the guy or anything, but aren't they making stupid photoshop images suddenly illegal? This guy wasn't distributing; his wife found these pictures in his sock drawer while she was putting away some laundry. A task which, according to the paper, he usually does. And the first thing she did was show the images to her daughter.
Ick.
CHILD PORN TRIAL: A Guelph judge has convicted a man of making child pornography by superimposing his teenage stepdaughter's face onto a photo of an adult woman having sex. The 34-year-old man, who cannot be identified to protect the stepdaughter, will be sentenced Sept. 21.
