Agree with holographis on the House-being-so-tightly-wrapped-up-with-identity thing at Hogwarts. On the one hand, it's sad for Ginny that the Houses rejected her. On the other hand, it raises an important question about the validity of the Houses. Why do they exist--what positive purpose do they achieve?
