So so sorry, and, more interesting things
Aug. 23rd, 2002 11:04 amWell, I inadvertantly caused tongues to wag over my last lj entry I think, and I'm terribly sorry.
Three people I know IRL are upset with me, I think, one I sort of know why, two I have no idea. I'm not even sure about that, but it sure feels that way. and I miss them. So I whine. That is all.
As far as I know, this isn't fandom drama. Though, it could be, I suppose, if we really wanted to get creative.
Now for something completely different.
This morning I had a dream about HP Orlando, and about
heidi8. Oh yes yes I did, and this is a good one.
In the dream, many of the HP actors were there, and there was this special event that was sort of showcasing them, sort of. A kind of rub elbows with the cast kind of event. For some reason it was very small, very exclusive, as if it were sort of on the sly and whoever was standing there was lucky enough to see it. So I spoke briefly to Tom Felton, of course, as i am wont to try to do, and it was very funny. Can't remember what he said, but I thought he was one funny little d00d.
Then at the last second they started announcing casting for the next film. At first it was exactly what you'd expect and everyone was pleased. Until they got to Draco. And then they showed this whole movie clip of the new kid they were getting to play Draco, and Tom Felton blinkity blinkity blinked. The kid was, like, 19 or something, too. He was HUGE. And when the little film was over, Tom laughed and said, "Well, I guess that's that, then," and puttered along his way, and of course I saw him again (I'm sure I just made SUCH an impression on the kid, man, you have to love dreams) and said, "I'm SHOCKED. I'm absolutely SHOCKED."
TF: "Are you? Why?"
me: "Well, you're only the best kid actor they had, for god's sake."
TF: "..."
me: "Aren't you the humble one."
So then some time later I discovered that he had climbed up beneath some tapestries against the wall and was having a good cry. Some people were trying to grab him up and ask him for his autograph, so I hauled him out and told him that we would take him somewhere else. Get him a stiff drink, or something. The kid needed it, of course. So then there were dream things that invovled parking lots and rain, and TF getting progressively smaller, and then me remembering that I a) have no car, and b) can't drive, so then we went back inside because I realized that we needed Heidi. Heidi would know what to do.
Heidi was doing Very Important Things in an council chamber of some kind. Now, for some reason, at this point TF is a smudge of something inside a tiny plastic bag, which I showed Heidi when I found her. (I told you he was getting progressively smaller.) So Heidi puts him back to regular little kid size and looks him over and is about to suggest something really smart when someone rushes into the room with a book and says, "You won't believe what I found!"
Heidi: "Well. Let's see if it's better than what Ivy found."
Then I woke up.
