Canada Reads
Apr. 22nd, 2003 10:30 amCBC radio is doing a little thing called 'Canada Reads'. What they're doing right now is that they have five prominent Canadians (and pretty funny Canadians at that) sitting around trying to whittle down a list of books to chose a single one that will be THE Canada Reads book. Some quotes from their conversation:
"It's not going to be easy to choose one of these great books to be the one Canada should read."
"It's not as easy as smoking pot."
"Smoking pot was an option?"
"You bastards!"
"I can't believe he said 'bastard' on CBC radio!"
"If you can say 'postmodern' on the radio you can say 'bastard'."
*Is in love with Justin Trudeau* DAMMIT. It's okay, he's got enough of his own gay, he doesn't need to steal mine. I'm positive this man will be our Prime Minister one day, and I will be so politically active at that point.
