Do not, I repeat...

DO NOT

on

pain of death

buy 500g of dried apricots and eat most of them in one evening. Cause you know what? That's a lot of apricots. And that's a lot of fibre. It says here, right on the package, high in fibre.

Man. Don't do it. Cause it's just like....

a whole world of intestinal unhappiness.

That's my message for the day. From me to you, my friend.

Oh, you poor thing. My roommate had the misfortune to do just that in our first year. Unpleasant for everyone involved.

Oh, yuck. *hug* I'm sorry, Ivy. :( Too much of a good thing = v. bad (except when it's something like an IvyBlossom H/D fanfic readathon).

Hope you start feeling better soon. :)

-_- my condolences

were those the brown or the orange colored dried apricots?

And you do know you have to drink a lot when eating this? Poor sweetie. They are a lot better when used in pastry or combined with baked apples and cinnamon. (and raisins, rum, a nice crumbly crust, clotted cream and a spoon full of vanilla flavored home made ice cream ^_^)

Get well soon! (and maybe then you can write chapter four for quiescence? o'_'o)

I love dried apricots. I'd eat an entire container but that's too much sweeetness for me.

Yeah, try some crunches and some water. Maybe some rice would help.

ick, hope you feel better soon! No other advice except to do crunches like the other people said... drink water... and take a hot bath :)

You have my sympathy.

When I was little, my grandpa used to always have dried apricots on hand, but would always refuse (despite my full blown fits) to let me have more than 2 at a time. Then, one day when I was freshman in college I bought a small tub of them and consummed each and every one of them, gloating at the fact no one could tell me not to, gloating that is, until the whole world of intestinal unhappiness began.

*attempt at muffling laughter*

MmmmmmmmmmmmmHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
I tried, I'm sorry! Though I understand completely...have you ever eaten that brown bread with raisins that comes in the can and slathered with cream cheese? Boy, that's a bitch...talk about fiber, HAHA! Hope your intestines are feeling more subdued today!

Why didn't you say something three weeks ago???

*wibbles* I'm one of the two unfortunates in the whole of the North East of England *g* obsessed with all kinds of dried fruit (except banana, ick ick ick), and often do the thing where I pig out of snacks when drawing. Very pleased I was to have finished a large A3 sketch. Very unpleased when I realised that the whole bag of dried apricots that had been sat there was now empty.

And now me mam has bought lots of mini bags of apricots because she knows I like them, and I don't kjnow if I do any more.

Weeeeeeeeeeep.

Now if I can only convince her she needs to get me dried strawberry and dried kiwi again... *g*

Love,
Mizzy xxx

I've been there, many many times, and I feel your pain.
