isilya wants to go to church today. She decided we should go to an Anglican service, which is handy because the church in town that I happen to think has the nicest nave (St. George's) is Anglican. Pretty on the outside, prettier on the inside.

If she had chosen Catholic, we would have gone to Church of our Lady, which is pretty on the outside but just gold and sparkly on the inside. I dunno, I like the Anglican aesthetic better in this case somehow. Not that there's anything wrong with gold or sparkly.

isilya is getting dressed. Soon we will meander downtown on this rather sunny yet chilly day and I will try to pay attention to the sermon. This will be the second ordinary church service I have ever attented in my life, and the first Anglican service. I wonder if they'll be able to tell.

Last night I dreamt that I visited an Anglican Church, and as I went to take my seat I looked around and said to myself, "I wonder if IvyBlossom is here?" Then there was some kind of mishap that involved various members of the congregation rushing to hold up the walls. I left with the impression that Anglican Churches were infinitely more interesting than the Roman Catholic variety. :D Too bad I missed you.
