The option to delete your journal and then undelete it is the silliest piece of functionality ever. It serves nothing but drama.

:O! How could you say such a thing?! I think we should all have the right to delete our journals when we are feeling down and depressed and want to rile attention for ourselves. Because really, everyone should care when we delete our journals. They should all freak out and be sad and ask us to come back, because we need to be LOVED! I am only human. :(

Drama, indeed. You just don't know what it's like to be UNLOVED!!

This is what I know about this. And I got most of it from Plu.

She'd accidently mentioned her LJ to some RL people, and because of it had been f-locking all of her fandom-related posts. However, she didn't want to just make her entire journal friends-only, so our guess is that she simply decided to delete it and will be back with another name soon. At least, this is what we hope. :)

I mentioned my LJ intentionally to some RL people. That was kind of OK but I didn't feel quite comfortable posting after that, and began to think I may have to start a new journal.

Then some RL people I didn't mean to find my LJ found it, without me mentioning anything at all. And I panicked.

But now I'm beginning to think WTF. :)

I certainly didn't delete my LJ to create drama, as someone suggested above - there was quite enough drama in my RL, thanks.
