Happy Thanksgiving, darling.

I lived with ivyblossom for over three weeks. I hung out with her friends, her wonderful family, we walked the dog. We ate soup. I saw how the people in her life appreciate and respect her.

Ivy is one of the nicest, funniest, friendliest people I've have the privilege of meeting. And to say that she's only friends with yes-people is both amusing and just delusional. I think at one point in 2002, she and I were arguing almost every day. She's the only person I've ever bothered really arguing with. She's the only person I've ever bothered making up with.

She's also just really good fun.

I have a huge amount of great memories - from running though the rain to the bookstore to shopping for pink sneakers in Toronto (shoe shopping! she knows me well) to her keeping me safe when I was drugged up on Dramamine. The pride party of gay bois and Hoegarden beer and making her watch the MTV Movie Awards. She showed me the Hustle in the background of one of the tracks on Justified, and now that's all I can hear.

Do-do-do-do-do-do-do-d-do

She rocks as much as Justin.
