Edit update
Oct. 25th, 2003 10:54 pmOMG I'm so excited I have just finished rewriting chapter 10. I don't know if I can properly express my joy. This is the chapter I spent three weeks writing, and then promptly saved over with an old version of the file. I tried to be zen about it, but rewriting it was painful and mostly uninspiring.
Though in the rewrite I decided to make it radically different, building on what I'd learned from the missing version of it. So in the end I think it's a better chapter than it once was.
It involves the phrase "catching a crab", and if anyone knows what sport that's referring to (
bonibaru and
novembersnow excluded) I will give you a cookie.
Edited to say: Okay, you guys know what 'catching a crab' means. I'm impressed. I thought it was either a fishing reference or something to do with an STD. You learn something new every day. :)

Also, a girl on my crew team once caught a crab so severly that she launched herself out of the boat. Pretty cool, if you weren't her. :)
