Of course I finished draft 4 of my manuscript the day before nanowrimo begins. Oh the temptation. I sort of want to use nanowrimo to help me write book 2, but I know that's not a good idea. Because a) I have a time consuming job, b) I'm taking a time consuming course of study at university, and c) it's just a dumb idea.

And yet...

Well, I can comfort myself with the knowledge that as soon as I get feedback from the four people with copies of said draft I will probably have to rewrite the damn thing again. By the way luciusmalfoy is talking, it may take me the rest of the year to fix it. Yes, that helps, I feel so much better now.

It's hallowe'en, and I have to work. Therefore I am tied to the building until 7am tomorrow morning. Bleh.

If you want to start writing the next book while you're still editing this one, do so, by all means, whether you use NaNo or not. It helps you be less frustrated and feel more creative.
