It looks like a Christmas card out my window. Snowing like mad, of course the day after
treehavn goes home it decides to really go for it. She was so excited to see some serious snow, and I had to explain that she really wouldn't see any serious snow until after she came back from the break, since it hardly snows much here until right before Christmas.
This is the only time of year since the mid 80s that I ever hear anyone going on and on about virgins on the radio. Possibly I need to listen to more rap music, I dunno.
No more schoolwork, no more classes, no more duty shifts even. I'm just here, at school, staring out the leaded windows at the snow, watching the students and their parents getting into cars and going home.

Patch my brother in law) on MSN: Hey, when are you coming home, Wednesday?Good to know I'm needed. Still snowing, by the way. Snow snow snow. I woke up this morning just before 9am, wide awake, ready to do something interesting. I opened up my computer, and the internet didn't work. No connection. So I went back to bed. Gotta love this "absolutely nothing to do" thing.
me: No, Thursday. Thursday at noon.
Patch: What are you doing on Saturday?
me: Let me guess...babysitting?
Patch: Well, Max will just be hanging out here alone, you're welcome to join him.
me: He'll be just hanging out in his crib by himself, if you'd like to stop by, that would be great?
Patch: Exactly.

Enjoy your day! :D

Date: 2003-12-14 02:33 pm (UTC)Me: Well I need something that I can drive in, that is practical in snow and doesn't leak, and which also makes me look like a bad-ass sex goddess in heels.
Him: Well, lots of people can walk in snow in two-inch heels. You're just crap.
Me: Maybe so. And they are nice boots.
Could you possible go over to the student lounge for me and find out the mark for my 504 proposal? I emailed the prof but she is crappy about responding to emails - my box number is #122...

geez, does that work? my local sister never babysat ethan when he was a baby. maybe i should have tried that approach - subtle, yet completely aggresive.
