Lovely Day

Me and
treehavn spent a lovely day in the public library. I have never seen a public library like the one here. It's the most beautiful place in the whole world. They have a fabulous children's department with nice low stacks all made of pine, pretty pine tables and chairs, fun comfy chairs, a separate YA area, which is right beside their in house cafe where you can get your french vanilla coffee and a danish, lots of overstuffed chairs and couches and big tables all over the place, escalators to the second and third floors, their own private theatre for showing movies, lots of big windows with comfy chairs alongside them (and permission to eat and drink while sitting there, too), and their own reading garden. So when the weather's nice you can go sit outside with your books.
Isn't that the most wonderful place ever? I think I want to live there.
In other news, my applications folder has spontaneously decided that I do not have permission to alter its contents, nor to add any new programs to it. I feel strongly that on my own computer I am God, completely all-powerful and beyond all locking mechanisms with my trusty pass-phrase, so I feel fundamentally thrown by this error message. Thankfully,
ixchelmala has told me how to fix it.
The question remains: should I push myself to do work now so I don't have to do it later in term, or do I just throw my hands up and say, "Oh screw it, I can do it another week"?
