Ugh! The hotter it gets the harder it is to do this "morning" thing. This "it's the edge of night" thing. This "my eyes are still gummy" thing. And it's not supposed to be this hot in August. It should be cool in the evenings so I can wear my pretty knitted poncho (care of boniblithe).

With the gummy eyes and the heat and the sleepiness, I don't even want to think about how old I am. I claimed to be roughly thirty for the last three years; can I now call myself roughly thirty now that I'm over thirty? It's just one over, it's still in the "roughly thirty" range, right? Not that I'm all that upset about it, but just the same. I'm like a bunch of pennies. Roughly a 30 of them.

I wonder how late for work I can justify being.

I wonder if I secretly have an allergy. As far as I know I have none. Though, taking those antihistamines to help me sleep probably has something to do with it.
