Streetsville in the Fog.

I took this picture by putting the camera lens through the fence on the other side of the railway tracks, which is why that sign is backwards and why the road ends where it does. But I thought it was a nice shot of the church in the fog.


As you can see, the trees are starting to wake up!


A flowering tree! Surely a sign of spring if there ever was one!


Someone's garden is pushing it's way up!


This is just over from Union station, where the bus drops me off. As you can see, it's no where near as springy in downtown Toronto as it is in little Streetsville.

A rainy day in Toronto; and someone risking their life by running between two moving streetcars (never a wise idea...they are TRAINS after all!)

Just a building I took a picture of. I seem to do that, now that I have the digital camera.


You can really see the fog in this one...it's like that building just goes up and up forever.


I saw this while I was waiting for the streetcar. Someone broke their glasses and then just rested them on a newspaper box, which reads "FREE". Great! Free broken glasses! I dunno, it seemed sort of poetic somehow. Or not, I dunno.

Those trees are gorgeous. I was in Boston around March last year when everything was just starting to bud, and we stayed there for a month. Everyday everything got a bit greener. It was almost magic. (tropics boy, see)

Big cities are always gorgeous too. <3

A friend asked me today when I was going to do more picspamming and I said, well, I'll take pictures when it's pretty again. But then I thought, maybe I should take pictures of the awkward phase that is early spring too, just to get the contrast. Of course today it had to be pouring rain all day! And then my battery died, so I only got a few shots.

Why, thank you very much! I'm not really a very artistic person, I mostly stick to words, but the clicking of pictures is kind of fun and easy. :)

Hehehee I'm glad you like them! I'm trying very hard to see Mississauga as somewhere nice, but honestly, it's not; Streetsville has it's moments, but the rest of the place is goddawful. Toronto, of course, I love more every day. If my battery hadn't run out at Queen and John I would have a lot more pictures.

Does this mean we'll be seeing picspam from you soon then, hmm?

Your new camera seems to have inspired a lot more looking around at where you are - or perhaps it just seems that way because you're showing the pictures! They are gorgeous pictures too, it seems like you live in a beautiful and very varied place. (I think I need to finally invest in a digicam! Was there any particular rule of thumb you used for buying yours?)

I just bought what my friend told me to buy, actually. I was just aiming for whatever was cheap. I took a knowledgeable friend with me who made sure I didn't do anything stupid. :)
