Possibly the saddest footnote to the whole strikethrough crisis: the response from [livejournal.com profile] brad, the guy who created the place.

The disconnect between the creator and creation strikes me as awfully poignant.

Hey,

I've just heard about this whole affair by stumbling on your livejournal, do you know what is being done to insure livejournals which have been wrongfully suspended will be reinstated?
Do livejournal users have any say in the decisions of the owners of the website: are there representatives of users on some board or possibly a consumers' association?
Thanks for relaying the info anyway, the way political correctness is creeping on us everywhere is just plain scary...
