Relay for Life in Second Life is starting in about 2 hours; my first act, other than moving my Cancerland build onto a plot of land and tweaking it for the space, was to donate to the cause in honour of our dear thamiris

I cried when boniblithe and I donated in her name last year, and I cried doing it this year too. That woman struck a very long-lasting chord.

She left us during a period of time when I was barely active on LJ. That breaks my heart. I miss her terribly. I absolutely loved seeing new posts and fiction from her. I wish I had been here to help out getting her account to a permanent memorial. I had only known her through LJ, but people like her is one of the many reasons I stay on LJ and keep coming back.

I'm not on Second Life, is there a link I can donate through perhaps a website?
