ivyblossomI would just like to point out that yes, I did get interviewed for that article, but I didn't actually say "Slash is a fringe element", he said that. "Finge element" is his term. I just said, being less than totally high profile keeps us out of trouble. d00d. We don't need the attention of the world.
Er....and he asked me very specifically about sexualized role playing "that transcends into real life." He wanted to know if it happened, and I said sure, sure, people can get that deep into it, and he wanted to know if I did it, so I said no, because it freaks me out, I have control issues with my characters and blah blah, it's a bit much for me, but I can't believe he used that quote. I mean, I did say it, yes, but context is everything.
Hey, man. That conversation was about forty-five minutes long. Nice guy though, really he was. He's never read the books. So there, John.
